Oldest Fujizuka in Tokyo was built on this shrine's grounds. Fujizuka is a small mounds which represent Mount Fuji. If you climb this Fujizuka, you attract good fortune as same as you climb the real Mt.Fuji.
The main shrine building was destroyed in the war and later rebuilt, but a large sacred gingko tree survived the destruction and still grows today.

Customer Feedback

  • Fujizuka was bigger than I expected. It is build like real Mt.Fuji, and surprisingly, it was made in 1789! I deeply moved that I experienced same activities that Edo era people did many years ago. (40s・Woman)
